An immersive installation where the game world stepped into reality
When Tarsier Studios prepared to launch Reanimal, the goal wasn’t just to showcase the game – but to let visitors step inside its world.
We were commissioned to design and build a large-scale scenography that captured the visual identity and atmosphere of the game, while working within the constraints of a real event environment.

Built under real-world constraints
The installation spanned over 20 meters in width and reached heights of more than 4 meters in parts.
At the same time, the project had to handle:
- extremely limited rigging time
- a space that couldn’t be fully darkened
- continuous audience flow
Every element had to be custom-built, robust, and fast to install.
Illusions as part of the environment
Instead of relying on screens alone, the scenography integrated physical illusions directly into the space.
The installation included:
- light boxes casting moving shadow silhouettes from the game
- a Pepper’s Ghost illusion bringing one of the characters to life
- spatial elements reinforcing the game’s atmosphere and scale
These effects created moments where visitors stopped, looked closer – and started filming.
From visual identity to physical space
A key part of the work was translating the game’s tone and visual language into something physical.
Rather than recreating specific scenes, we focused on:
- mood and contrast
- scale and silhouette
- light as a storytelling element
The result was an environment that felt true to the game – without becoming a literal copy.

Designed to be experienced – and shared
The installation wasn’t just something to look at.
It was something to:
- walk through
- discover
- document
And that made it a natural focal point during the event.

We design and build scenography, illusions and physical installations for game launches, exhibitions and events.
